This is me!^

My teaching philosophy: I am very passionate about Learning through Play! I’ve spent 2 years of my professional career at Hamleys Toy Store, another 2 years at the Lego Store, and 6 months at Build-a-Bear and have learnt the importance of Positive reinforcement alongside the benefits of creativity in nourishing the minds of young and older individuals.

My name is Valentina! I started working as an English Language Assistant on the 1st of October. Over the past 3 months, I’ve learnt a lot about Classroom Management, Communication and Adaptability in a classroom setting. My school grades go from Infantil (3 years old) up until 6th Grade however, I spend most of my time with 3rd to 4th Grade and have decided to make a lesson plan for 4th Grade which can also be used for my higher level small groups in the 3rd Grade. As a teaching assistant, I mainly support the teacher and help students with Speaking and Grammar in small groups and occasionally as a class. I intend to use these lesson plans to consolidate my student's knowledge of Natural Sciences, as this is one of their main lessons in English. I intend to implement new and original ideas to engage students and create a fun way to learn outside of the box!
